Merrie has over 20 years of management experience working with hospital-based physicians in pathology. She is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and cost-effective operation of the practice, including charge control, patient billing, reporting analysis trends, managing revenue cycle, billing audits and managed care contract negotiations.

Merrie is part of the team that is involved with the setup of new physician practice clients and physician office laboratories.

She also coordinates fringe benefit plans, practice policies and procedures.
