Professional Background

Dr. Ayesha Siddique is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. She completed her residency at Hartford Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She completed her fellowship training in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathology at Brown University.

Dr. Siddique received her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and subsequently completed an internship in Medicine and Surgery at Civil Hospital Karachi, Pakistan before moving to the United States.

She is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP), the College of American Pathologists (CAP), Gastrointestinal Pathology Society (GIPS) and the American Society for Clinical Pathology(ASCP). Dr. Siddique has published in several high impact journals in the field of gastrointestinal and liver pathology and received multiple awards from both CAP and USCAP in this regard. She is also on the editorial board of several journals.
